My background has always been in large scale construction and bring with many decades of highway, utility and site/land development experience, later evolving into a  landscaping business owner. I have a bachelor degree from the University of Minnesota in Construction Management. Later I went on to get my Masters degree in Engineering from St. Cloud State where I graduated with high honors. Some of my past projects included working as a consultant engineer for multiple municipalities. I was the Field Engineer for a half dozen small cities and spent my time bouncing around verifying  city planning projects. Bringing my education, along with working outside in the field everyday, honed my skills in site development and strengthened my understanding of land development building practices. I also am a Certified Chemical Applicator with certification issued by the State of Minnesota. Because of my background in construction and city planning, I have extensive knowledge of grading and leveling, equipment usage and capabilities and different species of grass, trees and invasive species. I apply this knowledge to each project I do.

 

Whether you have a project at your home, rental property or business, it needs to be DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. My left-brained engineering mind is detail-focused, mindful, careful and considerate. If I'm grinding a tree stump, I position my tractor to the safest position possible and use shields to contain the chips. If I'm leveling a lawn, I level it in a way that makes sure the rainwater flows away from your house.
